SMP Support in zeptoforth for the Raspberry Pi Pico -
Travis Bemann "I will speak on support by
zeptoforth for symmetric
multiprocessing combined with preemptive multitasking support on the Raspberry
Pi Pico (which includes the RP2040 microcontroller). This support includes
sharing of multitasking constructs (e.g. semaphores, locks, queue channels,
rendezvous channels, bidirectional "reply" channels, byte-oriented streams)
across cores and allowing cores to spawn and control tasks on arbitrary cores,
with booting the second core occurring automatically when a task is spawned on
it, allowing seamless operation where both cores are to the user part of one
unified system."

Adding Graphics to uEforth - Brad Nelson "A
longstanding missing feature for
uEforth on Linux and
Windows is the ability to draw. While uEforth has long had the ability to call
into Windows DLLs and Linux shared libraries, the additional code required to
actually create a window and draw something has been left as an 'exercise for
the reader'. I'll explore tackling that exercise and wrapping it in a Forth
vocabulary."

Forth Programming Challenge - Bill
Ragsdale February is the month for Valentine's Day. This month's
challenge is to draw a heart shaped object by what ever method you have
available. It might be ASCII X's, or the old Windows graphic characters, or
true graphics. Let us see some variety. It might be animated to change location
or size, with or without Cupid's arrow.

CORE I Forth on FPGA Project Update - Don
Golding "We now have the Dictionary working with a super fast string
search function written entirely in System Verilog. Token (opcode) execution is
also working."
