Chromecasting in Captive Networks - Brad
Nelson "Media players like Chromecast can transform simple televisions
into flexible internet connected displays. Unfortunately, in some environments,
Internet access requires manual steps to login. So called captive portal.
networks, like the ones present at our Stanford meetings space, make using
internet connected devices challenging. A similar problem affects Internet of
Things devices. I.ll explain how to use the
DD-WRT router or other flexible
routing software to 'fix' the network locally and enable these devices to
function, opening the door to wireless presentations and more."
